According to chapter 4 of DGUV Information 209-093

The DGUV defines a 4-level qualification system for working on high-voltage systems in research, development and production.

The level of training depends on the complexity of the activity to be performed and on the employee's previous training.

Person who has received instruction (FuP)

General work outside HV systems

Skilled Person for High-Voltage (FHV)

Working on HV systems in non-live state

Skilled Person for live-line working

Level E: Sensitized person

5 days - 48 UE (48 x 45min)
of which 16 UE practical

Previous Education C: Electrical training / studies
3 days - 24 UE (24 x 45min)
of which 16 UE practical

Previous Education D: Individual determination
>2 days - X UE + 16 UE practical (>16 x 45min)
